Café Mountain x Padmore and Barnes 'Hairy Hiker'
We teamed up with Padmore & Barnes to create the Hairy Hiker — a limited-edition take on the Original P204, exclusive to Café Mountain. Based in Kilkenny, Ireland, Padmore & Barnes have been crafting footwear since 1934. Over the decades, they’ve become known for their hand-stitched moccasins and enduring commitment to traditional shoemaking. Their approach is slow, deliberate, and focused on getting the essentials right — a mindset we share.
This version of the Original P204 stays true to those values. Made from extra-hairy two-tone suede and hand-stitched in Portugal, it features a D-ring lacing system, dual-tone hiking laces, and an ultra-light Vibram Morflex sole for comfort and ease. Every detail nods to vintage outdoor footwear, updated with a refined, functional finish.
Made with everyday wear in mind, the Hairy Hiker blends the spirit of collaboration with a deep respect for craft. It’s a functional nod to the past, reimagined for now — a handmade suede shoe designed for low-key outings, slower days, and easy movement.
