Autumn Winter '26 Lookbook
For Autumn/Winter '26, we're leaning further into what Café Mountain has always been: Well Balanced Leisure Goods made in small runs with the same makers we've always used, built to outlast the season.
As the weather turns, so does our fabric story, toward heavier cloth, textured wool blends, and a handful of washes designed to look like they've already earned their keep.
New silhouettes such as the Ideal Jacket see their first outing, cut from a single piece upper construction with the quiet authority of a vintage hunting jacket. The Telemark Mountain Jacket remains a mainstay, this time arriving in Black and Moss, once again carrying the line of 1950s Scandinavian trekking gear. Hand cut leather pullers detail the Mountain Fleece Vest and Jacket, chosen for how they age and develop over time.
Patchwork remains part of the story, cut by hand and laid out by eye so no two garments ever quite match, the kind of detail that only really works at a small scale. We've carried that same spirit with our Heirloom Cotton Heritage Shirt and Seersucker Cord Workers Shirt, both garments treated with mineral washes, a new territory for us and something we've had in the works for a while.
Knitwear sees a new chapter as we introduce the Johnson Crew Knit and Knitted Polo, both crafted in 100% British wool and brushed for extra warmth. The Striped Wide Tee sees us take a step away from our usual Tee construction, crafted in a midweight Korean organic cotton with a chest patch pocket and a classic tri-colour design.
As ever, our Autumn Winter ‘26 collection is built around good cloth, sourced with care and produced in small runs that keep us close to the people who make it.
