SALES ASSISTANT - VARIOUS HOURS AVAILABLE - NEWCASTLE, ENGLAND
Café Mountain is seeking a pro-active Sales Assistant to join the team at our newly opening flagship store in Newcastle. The Sales Assistant will exhibit a friendly and outgoing attitude whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience as part of our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Create a welcoming environment by greeting and interacting with customers and handling queries positively and effectively.
Deliver and maintain an outstanding level of customer service at all times.
Maintain the store’s visual identity within brand guidelines through merchandising and stock replenishment.
Showcase excellent product and brand knowledge.
Manage and oversee the stock, from unpacking deliveries, to completing audits and maintaining the stock room.
Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day. As a flexible role, you may be required to work on different departments, taking your service excellence and collaborative spirit with you.
Maintain all hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the store and staff areas.
Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks to customers (training provided).
Qualifications & Experience
Must be able to work weekends.
A minimum of 2 year’s experience in Retail.
A proven record in delivering excellent customer service within a similar retail environment.
Keen attention to detail.
A pro-active and motivated individual with the ability to take initiative.
Computer and till system literate.
Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
