SALES ASSISTANT - VARIOUS HOURS AVAILABLE - NEWCASTLE, ENGLAND

Café Mountain is seeking a pro-active Sales Assistant to join the team at our newly opening flagship store in Newcastle. The Sales Assistant will exhibit a friendly and outgoing attitude whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience as part of our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment by greeting and interacting with customers and handling queries positively and effectively.

  • Deliver and maintain an outstanding level of customer service at all times.

  • Maintain the store’s visual identity within brand guidelines through merchandising and stock replenishment.

  • Showcase excellent product and brand knowledge.

  • Manage and oversee the stock, from unpacking deliveries, to completing audits and maintaining the stock room.

  • Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day. As a flexible role, you may be required to work on different departments, taking your service excellence and collaborative spirit with you.

  • Maintain all hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the store and staff areas.

  • Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks to customers (training provided).

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be able to work weekends.

  • A minimum of 2 year’s experience in Retail.

  • A proven record in delivering excellent customer service within a similar retail environment.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • A pro-active and motivated individual with the ability to take initiative.

  • Computer and till system literate.

  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

  • Flexible working hours
