Autumn/Winter ‘25 Lookbook
Continuing our promise on crafting ‘Well Balanced Leisure Goods’, Café Mountain delivers another quality collection that brings refined practicality, unique fabrication and timeless design to a versatile range of essential garments. With an approach that favours quiet confidence over brashness, Café Mountain stands apart from a crowded space, offering low key, detail driven menswear options that are designed to serve the wearer, not just for one of two seasons, but for many years to come.
Aiming to bring people closer to nature, the collection gives nods to the slower things in life, with Music, Art, Craft, and Nature itself being the continuous source of inspiration for founder and designer, Lewis Wilson. Meticulously sourcing the finest fabrics from around the globe, the collection delves into a rich plethora of textures, think slubby linen checks from Japan, 12oz densely woven Canadian jersey alongside luxurious virgin wool fleece from Tuscany and British Merino Wool knitwear. Fabrics and manufacturers are chosen for their specialist approach to craft, where ‘imperfections’ are seen as a mark of nature and delicate traces of the by-hand-process of their makers. Our garments are created with character for those who appreciate the beauty of nature and craft.
Seasonal highlights include new iterations of their already iconic Telemark Mountain Smock, this time equipped with a full 2-way zip through the centre, alongside newly emerging pieces like the explorers jackets and the English Linen Denim Jacket which is made in the UK from a 50/50 cotton linen selvedge denim that has been produced on antique looms right here in England, the last fabric of its kind. The mid layers are for the most part made up from Japanese fabricated shirting and a made in Canada jersey collection providing easy to wear options that hold up in just about any occasion, our quarter zip sweat being a particular highlight for us. As with any Café Mountain collection, you can find a strong range of vintage inspired graphics that touch on the aforementioned themes of the brand, with our well loved ‘Music & Arts’ playing a key role, alongside niche and playful English references to the outdoorsmen’s favourite snack - Mint Cake.
In its very essence, if you’re after highly dependable garments that bring you closer to nature and are designed for your everyday needs then we have you set.
